OPEN HOUSE on Monday January 9th – from 10am to 5pm, everyone is welcome to come for FREE!

This year, we are offering mini-versions of some of our workshops:

  • 10h30 – Music with Aline
  • 11am – Math with Brad
  • 11h30 – Yoga with Danielle
  • 1pm – Arts & Crafts with Daryl
  • 2pm – Science with Tania, Rina & Olga

Other workshop-organizers will be there during the day to present their activities for January, February and March 2012:

  • Spanish – Aline

  • French – Isabelle
  • Arts & Crafts – Daryl
  • Language & Math Games – Rina
  • Engineering – Danny & Rina
  • Yoga & Nutrition – Danielle
  • Kung Fu – Nikolai
  • Public Speaking – Kim
  • Film Project // Double Digits – the big kids (Rowena, Tatiana, Yuval, etc)
  • Parent Meetings – Mary Martha & Rina
  • Math – Brad
  • Science – Tania & Olga

Christmas raffle

We have organized a raffle in order to raise funds for Centre Communidée.  Tickets will be drawn at the Christmas party at Communidée on December 16th at 2pm.  You do not need to be present to win.

There are over 50 family-oriented prizes to be won, valued at almost $1500!

Family passes to museums:

- Ecomuseum Zoo

- Pointe-à-Callière

- Contemporary Arts

- Canadian Centre for Architecture

- Musée Marguerite Bourgeoys

- Fort Stewart

Family passes to activities: 

- indoor skating at the Atrium 1000

- a cruise in the Old Port with Le Petit Navire

- swimming at the Olympic Stadium

- a game of glow in the dark mini golf at Putting Edge

Activities for children:

- art classes for kids at the Dollard Centre for the Arts

- t-shirt painting at Artista Café

- science workshop at the Redpath Museum

- face painting by Aline

- private French lessons with Isabelle

- karate at the Dojo Studio in NDG

- Zoom (social studies curriculum) from Nelson Publishers

Bollywood Night!

Jackie will be dancing in a Bollywood night – an evening of sensational Indian classical, folk and Bollywood dances, with a mission to raise money for communities in Bihar, India.  At 419 St-Roch, Saturday June 18th starting at 7:30pm.  For more info, see their website.
