Fees & Responsibilities

Full membership: 

  • $100 per month, or $80 per month if you stay from September to June (at the end of the year, you will get refunded $200, or $20 per month if you joined mid-year)
  • get full access to centre (as long as it’s not being rented out)
  • you can get a key ($50 refundable deposit)
  • if you have not returned your key by the 10th of the month, you are considered a member for that month
  • free rentals (as long as you don’t bump paying renters)
  • you have to take two cleaning weekends per year- one in each term (September-December and January-June)
  • you have to participate in daily cleaning and maintenance
  • you are encouraged to organize or help with at least one 4-week session per year
  • you must give post-dated cheques or sign up for automatic payments via PayPal here

 

Part-time membership: 

  • $60 per month, or $50 per month if you stay from September to June (at the end of the year, you will get refunded $100, or $10 per month if you joined mid-year)
  • Tuesday families can pay $40 per month, or $30 with the refund, because it’s a half day
  • you can come one day per week and you have to pick your day (max 15 families per day)
  • drop in on other days for $15
  • parties for $10 if it’s not on your day (halloween, cmas, valentines, easter, year end)
  • you have to take one cleaning weekend per year
  • you have to participate in daily cleaning and maintenance
  • you are encouraged to organize or help with at least one 4-week session per year

Drop ins: 

  • $20 per day ($10 per day for Tuesday drop ins and $10 per evening for Fridays from 4pm to 8pm)
  • you have to call ahead to see if there is room for more families: 514-394-0855
  • you might not be able to participate in planned activities
  • you will be assigned a clean up job upon arrival

 

New families:

  • you must start with an information session, offered for free on the first Monday of each month
  • if you cannot attend a group information session, you can arrange for a private orientation for $10
  • drop in costs during the first week can be put towards the first month of membership

 

Low income families :

  • any family who is unable to pay the full fee may apply to the Board of Directors for a reduced membership using this form.
  • families paying a reduced rate must join the fundraising committee or find other ways to contribute to the good of Communidée.
